David is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. His areas of practice with the firm include patent and trademark law, with a particular focus on patent preparation and prosecution.

David graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, both summa cum laude, from North Carolina State University in 1999. He obtained a Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University in 2004, where he served as an Executive Editor of the Wake Forest University Law Review.

Prior to joining Tillman, Wright & Wolgin, David was an attorney in the Charlotte office of Kennedy Covington Lobdell & Hickman, LLP.
